Head Trainer
Raven Gropp is the Head Trainer here at HF. She has worked with many renowned trainers in both the Open Hunter and Arabian world. By the time she finished her youth career, she was in the Top 5 for most wins as a Youth rider. Even though she is just at the beginning of her professional career, she has already taken riders to their first National Championships.She has numerous wins in Hunters, Jumpers, Dressage, but her expertise excels in the Equitation department.
Jeanne Gropp
Barn Owner
Jeanne Gropp is the proud owner of Hidden Forrest Equestrian Center, Inc. Horses go way back in this family, all the way back to 1898 to Jeanne’s grandfather and great uncle, who both rode in Roosevelts Rough Riders during the Spanish American war. Jeanne grew up here on the Jackson family property where horses have always been a part of her life. Under the selfless support of her parents, she has ridden, trained, and shown horses for 50+ years, and was well known around the country for her riding ability and accomplishments. In 1982, Jeanne was recognized as one of the countries top competitors, and she was invited to be one of 15 Arabian horse owners to ride in President Ronald Reagan’s 1982 Inaugural Parade. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity, and she was honored to have been a part of this .
